3 Ways to elevate your business branding.

When it comes to owning a business, there are many factors to consider, such as your target market or assessing the legal aspects of your industry. But ultimately, success is dependent upon building trust amongst your audience and connecting with them in a meaningful, unique way.

Here are 3 ways to elevate your business branding in order to better engage your audience and stand out amongst competitors:

  • Did you know that color increases brand recognition by up to 80%? With so much competition, businesses with engaging designs leave lasting impressions, and the ones lacking proper designs are often forgotten. Take Target for example. Their red, bullseye logo is a staple and easily recognizable, whether you’ve shopped there hundreds of times or once.

If you’re thinking of updating your logo and other branded materials, start with colors that are bold or colors that represent a meaning, like yellow for positivity. Remember, first impressions are everything when it comes to business.

  • One of the most important things in business is establishing credibility with your audience, whether your customers or investors. Consistent brand messaging ensures not only professionalism, but also an understanding of your brand. If you have three different logos and a few different tag-lines, will your customers be more likely to remember your brand, or get confused?

To check if your brand has consistent messaging, make sure you’re using the same colors, font(s), logo, imagery, tagline, tone, and descriptions across all of your marketing materials. This includes your website, business cards, storefront, and even your social media. With consistent branding, you establish an identity that your audience will trust.

  • Another obvious but often neglected way to elevate your brand is creating impactful marketing materials, especially printed materials. The best way to stand out amongst competitors is to create materials that are innovative and ingenious, such as custom luggage tags.

Along with creating out-of-the-box marketing materials, you should also focus on staying top-of-mind with your audience using consistent promotion and reiteration. Sending custom tags followed by a flyer can lead customers down the funnel to eventually buying your product or service. Innovative marketing collateral combined with strategic marketing campaigns will deliver stronger audience engagement.
